I stand by the opinion of not thinking it's a huge deal. It's not affecting my enjoyment of the game. The game is still plenty sexy. It did not affect the majority of the skimpy costumes, only a small handful of them. The nude suit is still in the game.

SHIFT Up had their hands tied by Sony. It was either minor censorship or risk not getting the game at all. I don't like censorship nor sony, but this is like paying a very small, insignificant, barely noticeable price to get something we would've never otherwise got.

And at that point, I'll just shrug and tell them to go touch grass, because it's totally not a big deal, bro. You need to stop complaining about that stuff, bro. Just accept it, bro. You're being weird, bro.

When you have people unironically saying "I'm not buying the game anymore because the water doesn't get her clothes wet", these people are indeed being weird, bro.

These people deserve to be clowned on. Not because I'm siding with the woke weirdos, but because these people were never genuine to begin with.

If you’re gonna crusade over censorship there’s a lot more noble things to focus that effort on than a video game not being lewd enough. I'd care far more about sex workers being chased off platforms because of puritanical credit card companies than this.

Okay, can you explain your POV of why you believe this?

Has this "protest" ever worked in the past, as in a game censorship got completely reverted via protest?

Were you really going to buy the game to begin with?

I don't have any interest in the game but I swear 95% of the time it gets mentioned it's always some discourse about censorship and less about people playing the game

This, and it's annoying.

All people complaining about something related to the game just need to actually play the game or say less about it.

People can't enjoy it for what it is AND enjoy the sex appeal.

I can understand why people would refrain from purchasing it due to the censorship, I'd probably be one of them if I knew ahead of time it would happen. Especially since they advertised this game as remaining uncensored, there was a breach of trust there.

Admittedly, this is the first and likely last time I pre-order anything, lesson learned.

That said, I do enjoy the gameplay, but since content was removed, it feels reasonable to not pay as much. If I didn't already have it, I'd consider getting a PC version on sale later on, especially if it had modding capabilities to add in lost content, or new content entirely. I wouldn't mind waiting if that were the case.

That said, I do feel a bit for the Stellar Blade dev team. It seems there's a bit of evidence they didn't want to do this but were strong armed into it by Sony.

I can't find it, but there was an interview about the dev and Yoko Taro talking about the Sony employees and how "they...are very nice people" in a real awkward sense.

Yeah but tbf, this one had a really good demo available. And waaay better T&A lol.

And isn't a horribly buggy mess on release.

Never bothered to buy those games at all, pre-order or not.
